	A social organization producing an annual
report on its impact and advocacy work. A
museum developing an exhibition catalogue
on urgent socio-political question. An NGO
developing a framework for an anti-discrimination campaign. An artist editing and
designing a publication exploring collective
narratives.

						&#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; Whether through publications, visual
materials, campaigns, reports, or other creative
formats, we approach projects as both editorial
and visual interlocutors: asking what needs to
be said, who the message needs to reach, what
assumptions are shaping the commission, and
which images, words, rhythms, formats, and materials can carry the content with clarity,
emotion and responsability. We define the
scope based on what each project truly requires,
rather than following a standard package.

						&#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; This includes: concept, layout, editorial
design, and art direction for books, catalogues,
magazines, dossiers, annual reports, institutional or artistic publications, infographics,
posters, campaigns, and visual identities for
socio-political and cultural initiatives; as well as
illustration, writing and editing of texts,
copyediting, translation, conceptual support,

We conceptualize, design, produce, and circulate small- and medium-scale publications shaped by collective experiences, cultural exchange, and self representation.


︎︎︎ How we do it


	Some of our publications begin with someone
who has something meaningful to share: a
manuscript, a collection of images, a research
process, a poem, a story, an archive. Others
emerge because a collective process creates
the conditions for something to be written,
assembled, and brought into circulation. We
are interested in both ways of publishing, as well as in the relationships, tensions, and
possibilities that exist between them.

						&#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; Through art and literature, our publications engage with themes such as memory,
migration, socio-political realities, peace, archives, language, collective forms of creation and publishing, among other interconnected topics.

						&#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; We also engage in editorial research,
the exploration of non-traditional book formats, artist books, literary editions, fanzines,
participatory and co-created publications,
as well as in artisanal bookbinding, and the
circulation of books through readings, cultural
events and independent networks.

We translate socio-political questions, themes
and research processes into participatory
artistic and cultural experiences.


︎︎︎ How we do it


	We work with individuals, communities, and institutions to design and facilitate artistic labs, creative workshops, and spaces for cultural gathering. Across multiple sessions, participants collectively explore, reflect, and create. We often combine tools such as creative writing, poetry, active listening, embodied expression, collage, and bookbinding to create something collectively — something that could not have emerged otherwise. However, the tools, questions, structure, and the team are always shaped according to the specific needs of each project.

 &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; 
The outcome is often a collective publication developed together with Trashumantes Verlag. It may also take the form of an exhibition, lecture-performance, intervention, or public event, among other artistic formats. We care about the creative result, but above all about the way it comes into being: the encounters and frictions, the moments of closeness and distance, the conversations, emotions, silences, the relationships that take shape, and the conditions of care, negotiation, and mutual attention that make collective creation possible. &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; 
In this sense, we are interested not only in producing visible outcomes, but in creating situated social contexts where shared forms of experience, knowledge, and creation can emerge.

	My name is Camilo. I am a Colombian
designer, artist, and writer based in
Berlin since 2021. I am a curious person
with a deep interest in languge, books
and storytelling as ways of communicating, reflecting, and building social
connection.

						&#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; Over the past ten years, I have
had the opportunity to engage with
the editorial field in many different
ways. I have designed and art directed institutional and artistic publications; written, edited,
and produced books; given talks on publishing as
artistic practice; facilitated creative workshops; and
developed independent editorial projects. In 2023, I
founded Trashumantes, an interdisciplinary cultural
project through which I have been publishing and
creating collective artistic formats with and for migrant communities in Berlin.

						&#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; As an artist, I am deeply interested in collective
publications as means of resistance, remembrance,
and empowerment. I work contextually, exploring
ways of investigating, questioning, archiving, transforming, and reappropriating memory. I
draw on different narrative forms, oral and written
language, as well as on participatory and collaborative practices of writing, printing, and publishing
that bring communities together. &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; 
My artistic work
engages with themes such as migration, individual
and collective memory, the relationship between fiction and reality, as well as slow practices as forms of
resistance. I am especially drawn to small-scale projects, privileging the intimate, personal, and transformative experiences they make possible.&#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; When I am not working on Trashumantes, I
draw with friends, write songs by the Spree, spend
time in nature, and work on a still-untitled novel.
