Our practice unfolds through a collaborative network of migrant artists, designers, writers, and cultural producers. This allows us to assemble creative teams tailored to each project, while also strengthening our creative community shaped through shared experiences of migration.
We work at a human scale, embracing creative practices in which it is still possible to meet, listen carefully, engage in dialogue, ask questions, explore with curiosity, care for our creative processes, and attend to detail. We believe in the intimate and transformative experiences that this approach makes possible, both for those who collaborate with us and for the audiences who engage with our projects.
Our clients and collaborators include cultural institutions, universities, foundations, social entities, publishing houses, artists, researchers, migrant communities, and other people and organizations committed, like us, to fostering intercultural exchange and processes of social transformation.
Trashumantes also has its own publishing imprint (Trashumantes Verlag), dedicated to amplifying voices in migrant contexts through artistic expression.
